Using this time now wisely, I came across the work of Candace B. Per, Ph.D.. One of the books she wrote is "Your Body is Your Subconscious Mind". I haven't read the book yet, but I did listen to a series of talks she gave on her work in general. The title of her book sums it all up, have you ever thought of our actual physical body being the subconscious mind? I never did. It's amazing to think of our glands, organs, tisssues and cells as storage places for emotion and memory. I have been aware of the concept of cellular memory but this was the first time I actually understood it in this light.
It ties up nicely with the work of Louise Hay, that our emotional problems tend to manifest as physical ailments in our body. There is now suficient scientific evidence that neuropeptides and receptors are influenced by emotion and by changing our thoughts we can change these emotions thereby change the structure of the cell - we have the power to heal our body.
Our bodies, whatever shape, size, or colour are amazing! Not only do they store our memories and emotions, they also reflect our intentions.
I will be hosting a two hour presentation on Body Language, on the 18th February 2016, at the Edgemead Business Park, Unit 15B, Southdale Stree, Edgemead, starting at 10h00. It will be focusing on the physical way we communicate with our bodies and the advantages of being able to read this language. It is based on the book entitled "The definitive Book of Body Language", written by Allan and Barbra Pease. Imagine being able to walk into a room full of people and know what they are thinking or imagine having the ability to know when someone is lying.
